October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
|
It’s every where you turn – that beautiful, life affirming pink ribbon. It’s the one that wraps its bow around women everywhere, and unites us together in our quest for health and well being for ourselves, our friends, our family, and our children. I googled “pink ribbon” today – in .38 seconds I got 3,420,000 results. Wouldn’t it be great if every one of those results wasn’t merely a link to a website, but a link to a cure? There’s so much to be done, and so much that can be done. And there are so many of you helping. Lynn and I are so proud of all of our friends and colleagues who are out there walking, running, cycling, raising funds and volunteering to help find the cure. If you want more information on breast cancer, read Breast Cancer Answers, a wonderful book written by my husband, Dr. Bruce Feinberg, a world authority with over twenty years of caring for cancer patients. If you want to join one million women participating directly in breast cancer research, sign up for Dr. Susan Love’s Army of Women. It’s a great chance for every woman to partner with the scientists who are working to find the cure. |

Iris, Thanks for the reminder. I called to schedule my m-gram this afternoon!
And a shout-out to our friends in ATL participating in the 3-Day this week. Go Angels for Angels.
