Learn to cook the way she did with a little help from Mama Says, “No More Frozen Pizza” — 24 simple recipe cards assembled into a clever, novice-friendly kit that looks like a pizza box.
Compiled by two local girls (and moms), the dishes range from light and simple (corn and tomato salad, vegetarian chili) to homey and filling (turkey spinach lasagna, Greek lemon chicken and artichokes, Gram’s sweet and sour meatballs).
Pie-shape instruction cards list cooking times, steps, and necessary kitchen utensils on one side and have food pics on the other. (So that’s what garlic green beans look like before Chin Chin II puts them in delivery cartons.)
