So there I was, minding my own business walking down Hayes Street, when I had a vision of sugarplums.  No, I wasn’t halllucinating -  right in front of me, was a sweet pink and yellow sign with an arrow pointing that-a-way.   So that-a-way I went.

Miette, an organic patisserie, was waiting for me with its hand-crafted cakes, pastries and candies.   And its sweet pink and yellow shop.  Tempting? You bet!  I bought 8 different kinds of salty and sweet licorices for my licorice-loving husband, some homemade taffy for my 15 year old, and way way way too many other little delectable treats for me.   I couldn’t resist – and I don’t think you’ll be able to either.
