Stamp Out Hunger – yes you can!!

Everybody can do something to help end hunger, and this Saturday, May 9, your local mail carrier is making sure that you can too. Stamp out Hunger is the nation’s largest single-day food drive. All you have to do is leave a bag of non-perishable foods by your mailbox, and your mail carrier will pick it up and deliver it to a local food bank.
This is the 15th year of this event, probably something you haven’t heard much about. But you can do something different this year – participate AND spread the word.
Last year, over 73 million pounds of food was delivered. Through rain, snow, sleet or hail, the mail always gets delivered. Let’s make sure that we help our mail carriers deliver food to the 35 million Americans who are hungry or who are living on the brink of hunger. Yes, we can.
