End of Summer Garden Harvest

Thanks to Mama Lynn’s neighbor, I filled a basket full of beautiful end of summer veggies the other day.  This neighbor has a beautiful garden, full of tomatoes, peppers, squash, herbs, eggplants, beautiful flowers and ornamental plants, and raspberries.   And this week, when she had to go out of town suddenly, she asked the two of us to come and help harvest while she was gone.

There’s nothing quite as special as wandering through a garden full of ripe veggies on a beautiful late summer morning with a good friend.  OK, maybe eating the fresh raspberries comes pretty close.  It was a beautiful and fun day.
